FAQ
What is the difference between a Tailor and a Seamstress?
Generally, a seamstress sews clothes, fabrics and apparel for a living. A tailor works at altering clothing and apparel to fit a client/customer. They can make clothes as well and might be tasked with hemming and mending. Usually, a tailor will work more with suits and coats and even fancy dresses such as ball gowns.
What kind of alteration services do you provide?

Do I need an appointment?
Because I offer personalized services and while we await the opening of our storefront location, appointments are required at this time. Â Appointments can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour depending on the type of service . Some visits require more time than others for necessary consultation and assistance with decision making. Stay tuned in for the grand opening of our physical location in April 2017.
How do I prepare for my fitting?
Be comfortable, relaxed, and open minded. I am a professional and will not steer you wrong. My goal is not just for my clients to look good, but also feel good. If you are wearing a special under garment be sure to have it on at the fitting . Men need to have the appropriate shirt for the suit fitting. Required shoe is necessary for all alteration. Some don’t realize the affect alterations of any type can slightly change the length of a garment.
How long will it take to have a suit or gown made?
I ask that you allow 3 weeks for custom made garments. If there is an urgent need this time can often be reduced to accommodate your deadlines. Also please be mindful of busy seasons and holidays.
